Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)

Its vitally important to have all of your gas appliances checked on an annual basis to ensure they’re safe. Unchecked appliances can be hazardous and could lead to Carbon Monoxide leaks. Regular maintenance can also increase the performance and efficiency of your appliances. Our Gas Safety Registered engineers will:

• Check all appliances are positioned correctly and safely
• Check any flue or chimney which serves the appliance is safe and installed currently
• Complete a flue combustion test to ensure the appliance burns correctly and isn’t emitting any Carbon Monoxide
• Check for correct ventilation
• Check that the controls are working correctly and are safe to use
• Check to ensure all the installed safety devices are working correctly
• Test the rate of gas consumption
• Visually inspect the appliance for any corrosion, leaks or irregularities
• Check the electrical connection

Annual Boiler Servicing

Our engineers will carry out a boiler service on an annual basis. It is a legal requirement for landlords to carry out a gas safety check every 12 months by a gas safe registered engineer. inFinnerty Gas can provide landlords with a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate on completion of work. For domestic customers, we highly recommend inspecting the boiler on an annual basis to minimise the risk of problems occurring overtime. Keeping on top of any servicing can reduce the risk of more expensive repairs in future.

Detecting & Fixing Gas Or Heating Leaks

Gas leaks in the home are usually the result of poorly fitted, badly maintained or faulty appliances like boilers and cookers. A common sign of a leak is the smell of gas in your home. Smart Heating Systems – Hive & Nest

Our Engineers are fully trained in installing Smart Heating Systems, as part of a new boiler install or on its own. If you also have a hot water tank, you can control that too!

We work with both Hive and Nest systems, which allow you to control your heating directly from your smartphone or a compatible virtual assistant such as an Amazon Alexa, meaning you will always come back to a warm home. Having more control of your heating can also save you money. On average, £130 a year on your heating bill can be saved by installing a smart heating system.
